The fourth session of Health Policy Academy: Health Policy 101 was held on July 22, 2015. This session’s topic was “International comparison of healthcare in Japan.” With a guest speaker, Professor Toshiki Mano from Tama University Graduate School and Long Term Care Solution, participants learned the current issues of Japan’s healthcare and its system by comparing other countries cases. In the later session, cases of reverse innovation; that is, healthcare innovation from developing and/or emerging countries for developed countries including Japan can learn were introduced by Mr. Onozaki.
