Press Release: ““Survey on the Attitudes of Stroke Patients” – the First Attempt Concerning the Stroke Policy”

The Chronic Disease Control Center of the Commission on Citizens and Health, the patient empowerment unit of the Health Policy Institute, Japan, conducted the Survey on the Attitudes of Stroke Patients, the first survey in the field of stroke policy, targeting stroke patents throughout the nation.
The survey results were presented at the Stroke Policy Summit held on October 10. Based on the results, major stakeholders recommended specific measures, aiming to formulate the Basic Law on Stroke Control from the standpoint of the patients.
