The Public Survey on Healthcare in Japan generates a great deal of public reaction every year. This year’s survey was conducted in January and produced interesting results reflecting the current employment and economic circumstances, health issues, and so on. Kohei Onozaki, Director of HPIJ’s Health Policy Unit appeared on the TV Asahi program “Asamade nama TV” on health policy, broadcast on February 27. The results of the 2009 Public Survey on Healthcare in Japan were quoted frequently throughout the program.
