Health and Global Policy Institute (HGPI) Senior Manager Mr. Shunichiro Kurita served as guest speaker at the Tokyo University of Information Sciences Faculty of Nursing. He gave lectures for three courses, including “Social Innovation Theory.”
Speaking from the perspective of a participant in policy formulation, Mr. Kurita gave a systematic lecture on policy process theory, which is necessary for understanding the healthcare system. He also covered topics like recent developments in social security. During his lecture for “Social Innovation Theory,” Mr. Kurita drew on his firsthand experiences to share the importance of working to drive various actions from society and explained the methodology for such efforts.
